Domestic hat on for a moment... Over the last few months I have discovered that Green and Blacks is rubbish for cooking with as it keeps separating, probably too much solids. So I suggest that you just eat it as it is!
yep, better chocolate for cooking is often the higher fat content ones, because more stable
Toberlone is really good for fondue, Belgium proper chocolate (sorry Sas) does not work for fondue without lots and lots of cream (that would be the fat then)!!
oddly I had lots of success cooking with Sainsburys milk or dark or white chocolate - the cheapest one I could get!!!
Pink, yes its been quite a busy Friday night too (in a domestic goddess type way, nothing too exciting) - but its 9.30pm which is late Friday night by my standards, you have it ALL ahead of you!!
Pink, oddly Dairy Milk tastes a hint different here compared to England, but its still devine!!! Made chocolate truffles with it last weekend - with small amount of butter and some cream, and a tablespoon of Baileys! yum!!
oh Pink, what a shame! yes, such a shame you'll have to go shopping tomorrow!!! ;-)
Tetley, was only 29 deg C today, much nicer yesterday's 37 deg C, will sleep better tonight. 25 deg C forecast for tomorrow and then 21 deg C and showers on Sunday, which I'm not impressed about when I have 2 BBQs to attend!!
oh yes Sas, I TOTALLY agree with you about eating Belgium chocolate - YUM!!! oh, there I go again, missing the place....
actually I can get proper Belgium chocolate here, there's a Belgium chef who has opened up his own chocolate shop in the city - Koko Blacks, and its wonderful!!
We have a famous beer cuisine (well every woman learns those things from her mother). Now you have very posh restaurants in New York, where you can eat belgian stew, etc...
And people pay a lot for what you can here buy at any snack place
For this particular recipe, yes one tablespoon, but in hindsight, it was a very subtle flavour and I could have been more heavy-handed, must remember that next time!!
Pleeese - I'm trying to be good today - need to get down to my fighting weight for the FLM - all this talk of food - no its no good - where's that buttie - I'll have an early lunch - and starve at 12.30

Pink, well I must admit I do eat Dairy Milk, yum!! I have a very sweet tooth, so its probably all that sugar I really like!
Sugar often wins - but I do try to fight it (sometimes!)
...I have worn a whole in my jeans
That means I NEED a new pair doesn't it?
Sigh - looks like I'll just have to go shopping tomorrow
