Hi folks,
some of you might remember me from before but I've been out of running action for quite a while though (and now I have a better idea why) and now it looks like walking could be next to go...
It's a very long story including two podiatrists. Both say I need orthotics, which I can accept. But one is basically trying to screw me through my medical insurance (it's a very long story, ongoing, and no, I'm not going to name the practitioner)and I'm not sure how qualified the other is.
It is now at the stage where my feet and legs ache constantly, from the moment I wake up and any exercise is out of the question. No exercise/feeling low/eating crap - I'm not going to go on but basically I'm at the end of my tether.
**Can anyone recommend a podiatrist that they have used in London who is professional and friendly?
ANY advice would be most gratefully received.
Sorry for the tense tone, I've just about had enough!!!

Also, you can always check the qualifications of a pod by checking on the Health Professionals Council Web site
www.hpc-uk.org
or the public part of the society's web site
www.feetforlife.org
Am interested in how you get on because I too [deep breath] will be going to a pod and will be interested in how you get on. Hope it'll be third time lucky
Saw him yesterday - had two runs since and very pleased to date.
