Yes it was me. Chester races were Friday evening and Saturday. This meeting is called the scally's meeting and it is not wise to be out after the last race.
I had no trouble running as I was out, back and showered before most of the race-goers had even thought of getting out of bed.
just heard the pin drop- sound traveles slower in Wales - Haydn - i & Mrs went to the Fri night races in chester, we usually have a works (hosp i used to work at) outing, we went late caught 4 races lost only on 4 -sarah moo how are you - take it easy in this heat, i ve just had 6days in s of france , and even got out to run 4 times- max of 30mins slow plod- enough to enhoy a beer , talk soon
OB - thanks for that link. Just wondering what on earth you were looking for when you 'stumbled' across that very useful drinky-bra creation. Gives a whole new meaning to the word 'breastfeeding'!!
Oooh just a thought. Does the drinky-bra 'grow' the more liquid you put in it? This could be a sensible solution to my flat-chestedness without the need for chicken fillets / rolled up socks etc. Imagine hubby's surprise as with each slurp of drink the bra magically deflates! Let me check out that link again....
Dublin is on the Bank Holiday monday and is used by many as the third of the 3 in 3, with Snowdonia being the day before and one in Kent being on the Saturday. Not me I hasten to add but I did enjoy the Dublin event and the breakfast run the day before was good fun with frenzied swapping of race T shirts with the Americans and then live Irish music to accompany the brekkie.

Hadyn drops pin.
Did anyone hear that?
I didn't realise I was within 4 miles of the Welsh border.
But it was over 24hrs ago!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
P.H. will be disappointed.
Guess sound travels slowly on the web!
The Church in Lower Bridge St is 1.3 miles from the border.
And all this time I have not managed to cross the border on a run. Except for one along the Millenium Cycle path to Queensferry.
bogg off;))
