Tequila, yes entry on the day is possible. If we hit capacity I'll be having several pink fits in a corner somewhere! £8 affiliated, £9 unaffiliated. Please arrive nice and early to avoid the stampede to the entries desk!

Looking forward to it, well as much as I can be on the basis that I have an 18-20 mile training run to do tomorrow, which will rule out any chance of a PB on Sunday ;-(

That is why i ran through Bushy Park with many other`Strags. Came out of a gate on the Hampton/Teddington Road and ran through Teddington High Street and over the lock, showered and went over the Ham Common pub for a plate of cholestorol. Yum yum

Pedestrian gates only shut at 8pm during the cull. Plenty of time to run through before then!

See you all on Sunday. Mind the speed hump in the finishing straight and stay in place in the funnels! Oh, and I've bought hundreds of twix/kitkat/penguins/club biscuits for when you've finished. The letter in a corner of your race number reflects the t-shirt size you asked for. If you didn't state it then I had to guess.

Well done Womble! Excellent race. No PB for me in that wind - why is it that the wind is always head on even on a loop course? Many thanks to the marshalls for being out there and so cheerful in such miserable weather.

I got a PB by 3 minutes - and considering the wind and the fact that my daughter is only 4 months old, I'm quite chuffed with myself! :-)

Sorry about the weather everyone! Wasn't too impressed myself on my bike at 06.00 on my way to Chessington :-(

Birthday girl is probably still in the pub but has a time of 1.02.43 in our [provisional] results.

First man Michael Boyle of Herne Hill Harriers in 32.25, first lady Emily Nelson of Epsom & Ewell in 36.18 (10th overall). Epsom Allsorts won the mob trophy (do I look surprised?). Strugglers won the ladies' team prize and Dorking & Mole Valley won the men's.

I would really welcome feedback - good or bad - send me an e-mail. It all helps to make it better next year. Although I can't do much about the weather.

Off to lie down now.......

Fantastic organisation and a thoroughly enjoyable race - apart from the head wind. My 6-8KM stretch was dreadful, ruined any chance of a decent 10K time.
