Can this be done?

I need some help from you marathon running experts. . . .

I'm trying for a GFA entry into London 2006 & I'm doing this race after Connemara Ultra last Sunday. My PB at the moment is 3:29, will it be possible to get 3:15 at Lochaber? What should I be doing over the next 3 weeks?

Oh, I did Connemara Ultra in 5:50 if thats any help

  • Resting and light training, perhaps swimming. You've done as much as you can beforehand. Your body needs to rest and recover before the next stress is put on it. Your muscles will still be tired by Lochaber, but good luck anyway. Keep shovelling in the pasta.
  • So no more long runs over the next 3 weeks then?
