Need moral support as big birthday tommorrow, is it the sane market down castlefield where live in fear of wallet snatch, want to go on night out but not if it will be tame affair populated by pc radical students too many conflicts with swp when in nalgo
ooh! Well it can be a bit risky at times, I'm glad I've got good reflexes is all I can say. And some people drive like utter morons in the city centre as you know! However, for a large part of my journey there are actually cycle lanes, so it's not all that bad.
(If I have to do a run of between 10 and 12 miles I run the same route - now THAT can be dodgy! )
Altrincham v posh but good bars, nalgo now unison, used to be v leftwing now just knackered, bune do u run with atrincham runners, have been to decathlon but prefer up and running in hyde , bune r u doing 4 villages?>??????
Bet i do, have not come last but v. old people even by my standards have over taken me plus last race 2 men over took me on last race by saying thanks for being our pace maker ,,,,,, HELLO.
freaky im not that far fast or read to run 1/2 maras - i only started running again in October and im not properly running at the mo - its very stop start - so will pick up atraining prog in jan - just trying to get back to fitness and lose weight first - aiming to do races for life over the summmer!
I might be joining Sale Harriers - a new recruit at work runs with them and is advising me they would readily accept an already experienced runner. it's certainly tempting
No come running with me , met someone at stockport 10 who claimed to be very unfit and wanted to come running, got on v well., but sadlt she walked up the hills I was dying up.
they are probably the prem club Psi - bt there is also Stretford (Trafford athletics club) think they still train at Ryebank rd chorlton - near Longford park but may have some links with the Games Stadium warmup track! Sale train at Wythenshawe park
dont you run for the Uni or is there not much of an athletics union?
Bune, I could run for Uni but want to run with SH as they are as you say probably the most successful / 'elite' etc. club in Manc and it can only benefit my running to try to bring myself up to their standards.
Freaky I will be at the 11th if I'm not in the USA!! Also, you know I couldn't do the Stockport 10 cos of work? Well in the end we organised a unit team to run in it! Argh!! Sods law however, I was injured so couldn't really risk it anyway

I love Dorset and will only ever move West, but I suppose if I keep going I will come back to where I started!
- I was (narrowly) beaten by my mum (59) in Dublin marathon
some foolish peeps asked "weren't you embarassed ?"
- was I feck! I was proud of her!
there are no roundabouts on my route - up straight thru the city centre in more or less a straight line
