Yes, I should be fine...I still have a barking cough and am taking a break from running this week because I'm wheezy, but I'm hoping to be much better by Friday. At least I'm not taking horrible antibiotics any more - they made me feel terrible.
Successful days shopping with Mrs Pink. She got loads of stuff .... much of which I will probably get to return in the next few weeks. There was no loss of life and only a small loss of sense of humour from me. My house was found clean and tidy and passes inspection .... however my garden was thought to be a shocking mess of weeds and in need of much attention ..... there are some weeds coming up between the slabs on the patio and I have not had time to pressure wash it yet to get rid of winter gunk.
Mr LB is through 15K in Boston Marathon! I think all hopes of him winning it have vanished, as some tiny little Kenyan guy has romped home in about half an hour (or something like that)...
Might as well take your time now Mr Liverbird.....
There was live streaming available, but now the elite race is over they're not bothering with the real runners!
TP - I need some thing strong to drown my sorrows! What've you got?
went for a two and a half mile plod which was great, hard work and slow but great
then when I was going to get baby ned in the play area i have to go past with her was full to bursting with kids and two massoof great lorry trailers were parked up in the car park.
I was thinking this was not a good thing and maybe I should take her in the long way round and avoid them all. but, I had my hat on as she's a bit tiggery at the moment so decided to be brave and walk her past it.
she walked past the kids as if they weren't there yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay. spotted the lorry trailers and was erm, NO WAY!!
anyway, spent a fair while walking her around next to them in the carpark and by the time i'd finished she was licking the wheels of one of them LOL mad mad critter, I was very pleased with her indeed
Had the remains of Sat nights scarey hot curry tonight (though cooled down with some extra cream) so I'll pass on the pasty
Upstairs I am reading Nineteen Minutes (Jodi Picoult) and downstairs I'm reading one of the Piers Morgan lightweight diary things. Downstairs books are for filling in the odd 5 minutes. Just finished Constance by Rosie Thomas which was very good.

Really looking forward to meeting you!

Well done Mr LB anyway. You wouldn't trade him for a skinny as a stick Kenya anyway would you?
Let us know how he gets on.

It's been a long time since I've conjoured up one of those but I'll see what I can do ..

Well done to Mr LB - hope someone has some Krug waiting for him at the finish
Glad you survived your shopping trip, TP.
Salsa tonight - I think a margarita should put me in the mood.
I'll rinse out my shaker and do the honours then ST
<counjours up magical margarita>
It's my old Texan recipe .... don't have a second or your legs won't be fit to salsa.

Indeed I have Loon. Deeply disturbing but one of my favourite books ever. Was just thinking the other day I shoud reread it.
You coming to Luton this year?
