Glad to see the back of him, although it was fun to have conversations in his threads whilst ignoring everything he said. Worst punishment he could have - being ignored.

I hope you'll reconsider your positon. I appreciate what you're saying, but I think Chimp's right. Ro is annoying for sure - but I think we can live with him, and in a funny sort of way I find him a quite interesting character as I can't quite work out what makes him tick.
I suspect that Jon's right - he's deeper than you think and if you scratch him he bleeds.
Much as he might irritate I'd only regard banishment a last resort.
Ergo I hope RW will reconsider.
You can't really banish him - he'll just invent another persona and re appear.
I'd rather know just who he is so's I can ignore him if I want to.
Anon has quite rightwing views that don't match with mine and I generally find distasteful. But I reckon he 100% believes what he says. Therefore, very happy for him to stay. (Well, maybe not happy... but, y'know.)
Ro: posts anything at all that he thinks will get a reaction. I don't know what he believes. I'm not even sure Ro knows what he believes...

You're right, he can indeed set up another address, which he's done many times.
But when someone starts sending hurtful and upsetting messages off-forum, and putting cryptic but hurtful to those that know messages on the forum too, then something has to be done.

Yes I agree - he shouldn't be doing that - I didn't realise that he was to any great extent.
As I said I withdraw my support.

I'm fine with people trading insults on-forum, in context (it's not there to be taken tooo seriously), but I don't think chasing people off-forum is OK.
