Tapering off

I am currently training for the Paris Marathon (april 6th). I am adding one mile every Sunday to my long run...three questions:
1. How many miles should I take this up to? ( I am currently at 15 miles)
2. How many weeks before the race should I begin to taper off my training?
3. When do I start to carbo load?

    well done on your training. I'm no expert, but here are my views, if you are already up to 15 miles, you should aim to run your longest run of about 20/22 miles about 4 weeks before the marathon. Your tapering could be 3 or 2 weeks before the marathon. If a 3 week taper then drop your mileage by 25% in week 3, 50% in week 2 and 75% marathon week. I always gradually increase carbo foods in the last week, with the final 3 days being the main focas.
