LOVE LOVE BIG BIG LOVE! I always think of you when I drive around it, clockwise or anticlockwise. It's been a bit sad lately, deserted by children who have grown out of its pleasures. Hence I'm introducing them to its wild side, it's anti-clockwise side.
yes - we were down Malvern way last w/e for the show but have to say that we wish we hadn't bothered.......veh disappointing compared to the Lahndahn ones - very provincial
Disappointed??? YOu stuck up southern git! It is no Hampton Court or Chelsea but it's lovley all the same, and you get that gorgeous backdrop of the hills. I guess I am just a provincial striper, but I like it and the provincial quirks are part of it.
Hmmph
(Not sure that I would travel from Zussex to see it tho!)
Jon, I was back at canary wharf in Nov, waiting for my friend to finish wuk at Reuters building before we made our way to see lovely Len, the king of men at O2. I had not been there since we met Caz post kebab on that bright FLM morning many years ago.
There are loads of life skills that I have not yet got the hang of, but at least I am running a fair bit and reading lots and one day when its far too late may have got a fingernail grasp on being a parent.
Wuk is a bit boring, cuts blah di blah, no spending, NO LOVELY BOOKS, voluntary reduncdacies (tempting), students already nearly finished, being bypassed by the google generation etc etc
I have been the proud parent of five tadpoles, from egg to full froglet losing tails status, until yesterday, when I found my two most developed froglets dead and I am very sad and feel very guilty. I have no idea what happened. To evolve from egg all the way to frog, only to die in captivity.. it's not good....
But still have a changing parade of beautiful guinea pigs, 2 buns and 2 cats.
I am looking forward to hooking up with Fox again..
I am finally getting used to living in malvernshire not shropshire after 16.5 years...
You see to locals it is nowt to do with the RHS - it is the Malvern spring gardening show, and it ticks all those boxes. But if they market it to outsiders as some big RHS do, one of the biggies in their show calender, then I guess visitors might not be so excited. I mean I really love it... but I live a couple of fields away and go once in 4 years. I would not dream of travelling to it!
Sorry the weather was a bit blowy.
Meanwhile my boy cub was recieiving Players player of the year for his team
[climbs carefully up on Very Handsome Aluminium Steed and wobbles all the way up the thread, stops, puts feet on the floor and heaves VHAS around to face the other way, and wobbles all the way back.]
