Cheque cleared on 28/10. Did not dare to hope but acceptance form and mag arrived today. (Bit of a saucey picture of Paula on page 9 mind..)

2 years in a row out of 3 ballots, now maybe I can make good on 2005's debacle.

1st time ballot application for me although I ran last year with a Golden Bond place.

Cheque cleared on 28 Oct & I bequeathed.

Nothing received yet though . . . maybe not all cheques cashed on 28th aren't in.

got my rejection pack this morning, biggest suprise was that the fleece is a good fit.
Nice to see that the mag hasn't got 'unsucsesfull' stamped on every other page like last years mag.
Just got to wait for the club draw now.

Looks like the cheque cashing conspiracy theory was correct - got the fleece and sad look on my face .

Still no news! I took a few hours off work yesterday to wait for the postie!! Just a credit card bill and some junk mail!

I haven't heard either. I'm constantly checking this forum to keep my hopes up that I'm not the only one! How sad are we? Cheque cashed 28th and bequeathed so still hoping.

Got home last night with note from postoffice that got parcel. Almost cried thinking it was my fleece but wasn't - yippee!

Can anyone who has had a rejection letter tell me if there is an application for the Edinburgh Marathon in amondst the fleeces. Last year I got one with my rejection letter which gave a guarenteed place and the plan was to take it up this year if I was not successful for FLM. No-one seems to have mentioned it and now I'm beginning to think Edinburghs out for me as well!

got the news last night at the club that we will have 3 club entries available for the club draw.........



and so far there are only 2 of us that were rejected in the FLM ballot.

Hi, A wee reply to Mandy about Edinburgh. I was rejected last year and applierd and and was accepted to Edinburgh. it supposed to be good fun, but there are a few good cheaper options to look out for. Good Luck-awaiting the arrival of my fleece too!

I am still waiting too! Have not even seen my postie but guess he will be wearing a rather nice fleece. I am holding out before I finally sign the pledge and have to get fundraising as its difficult to do both at the same time!

My brother-in-law is a postman and he says that they only normally nick anything that looks like a Christmas present or has come from Amazon.co.uk, so hopefully our fleeces are still on the way !!!! )

I bequeathed and my cheque was cashed on 2/11 so as expected when I got home on Friday a very wet, plastic fleece sized bag was hiding behind my wheely bin.

Ah well, it's my fifth on the trot so I'm guaranteed for 2007........and it's a nice fleece (my 2001 (I think??) fleece is looking very worn out!).
