When I am running into the wind, it feels like there is more fresh oxygen getting into my lungs. Helps me get that bit more energy.
But granted, wind behind is good too....

On a positive note, at least I know why my training hasn't felt right over the past week or so.
Oh, and I have been busy at work!

What : 1.25mile jog to gym into strong headwind (9:34)
Gym 500m warm up then 6*800m at 10mph/16kmph
with 200m recoveries at walk/slowjog pace (5-7mph) , 750m warm down
all in all on the treadmill 7.25kms/4.5 miles in 32.23
1.25mile jog home,light tail wind (9:21)

Anyhow did marathon paced 10 miles and HONEST Laura felt absolutely fine. In fact the pace felt relatively easy.
Intend not to run tomorrow though. Looking forward to a relaxing swim instead.

Why: melting ice & slush making it too dangerous for me to run. Hopefully it will be all gone by tomorrow evening.
