Fitness Lost after a few weeks break?


Just wondering if anyone knows how much fitness you loose after taking a few weeks out of training?

How long would it take to resume your fitness to where it was ?



  • Rule of thumb says two weeks training to recover one week off.

    Personally I rather think it depends on how many years you have been running, in my experience when you have been running for years recovering fitness is easier than for those whom have not been running that long becuase muscles tendons etc have adapted to running.
