Well done everyone. I think the 5 mile results are going to be posted. I'll phone the person who sorted them to find out. If they are not I'll find out how else I can pass them on.
now added - same page as 20 mile results. There are a couple of gaps - maybe the organiser can work these out in due course and then I'll update the page.
Matt, I keep trying. I have finally got over my ankle injury which means i have been able to start doing the distance training ready for london. Going for the sub 3h. I did forest of dean half on sunday aswell which managed i 1:30 which ain't bad considering.
1:30 for an offroad half on Sunday! My legs still haven't recovered. Don't get injured this close to FLM. Haven't been doing too much different to last year apart from eating and drinking a bit less, and increased my swimming.
MATT- I'm doing FLM aswell staying next to the mall due to air miles messing up our bookings. How many long runs have you done? I'm worried i haven't done enough.
I did do 3 marathons last year though.
I won't join a tri club coz i only want to do a few. I have done two duathlons and going to do hereford next month.
SP- If you had a good run at Rhayader (which you did) I wouldn't worry too much about FLM. Just do a long one this weekend and then start easing off. I've got a few more long ones planned but its in prep for something at the end of May. Tri's are good fun, just a bit bike biased.
is that the banbury 40miler or something like that?
I'm doig peopleton this weekend which i was going to do twice = 12mile, but i may do the race then go home and do 10mile instead. or would missing the race and doing 20mile training be better option?
SP-Was tempted by the Pepleton race, also Wrekin Fell race, but will probably go and do the White Horse half mara. Doing a LDWA event on Saturday which will be 27miles (if I don't get lost). I'd suggest doing a steady 3 hours/20 miles on Saturday and go and race Pepleton on Sunday. End of May is the Grand Union Canal race.
Think UM has. just trying to work out if they are being sent out in order of finishing time or whether there just wasn't one of me (due to running past to fast for the naked eye to catch ;-))!?!??!
SP - that's funny cos the bloke I was runningwith today gotthe wrong one too and he's had to send it back. I haven't recieved one at all!?!? Hopefully I'll recieve one of some gorgeous lady who looks like a good runner. I shall keep it and pretend it's me :-)
Had one a while ago. Cath had hers a couple of days later. Everyone at our club who ran and I've spoken to has had a photo. Good picture at about 15 miles with a reservoir in the background.
