Lurker - HH said he might be able to squeeze in the Midnight 30 between BH and Crawley. I understand the 30 starts at midnight sat/sun 25/26 Oct, so I should imagine this is quite possible.
Well, I've been considering the CC 100, but as it's loads of laps it's prob that I can't be arsed and I may do 50 .
if the last three years are anything to go by i will be barely able to walk never mind run after beachy head!!!
yet again my training has been rubbish and i have done no further than a 11 mile plod along the canal, so the hills of beachy head may be a slight challenge
My last proper long training run before CC tomorrow; will be a good dress rehearsal as I am going to run the 10-12 mile loop around dartmoor fourish times and can pit-stop at my car each lap and wont have to carry a full camebak so will be very much like CC for real; same terrain in most part too.
i don't remember - but at the checkpoint 5 miles round there was water, jaffa cakes and hot tea, maybe some gels - smiffy should know as he was running it
Yes I have your mail, thanks. Sorry I've not replied to you yet, but will do. It's been a busy Monday - went swimming just after 7am, turned up for work at 10am then busy busy busy as usual, was at work 'til 6:30pm and then ran home on dark canal, spooky!
Thanks for asking Minnie (Not! ) only did 22 miles in the end. Plenty of trail and off road and hills though so all good training. Plan to do few similar longuns this week then start to wind back

No pizza though.
Thanks UM. Thats the plan. Wobbled a bit for a couple of weeks but then the insanity of the long distance runner returned and I well up for it again
I am going to be driving up on my own on the day and if unable to drive back immediately, I plan to sleep in the car for a few hours.
Good on you. Don't even think about it now, just turn up and do it. I'm sure you'll be fine.
I'm definitely up for 50, but, despite what I said about the laps, I can't help thinking about the 100...hmmm
Sorry if it was posted way back, but what kind of food is normally available at the start/finish area please?
Hopefully posh bread and jam

obviously no 42 will have some pizza
posh bread and cheap jam!!!
Enter the hundred and see how you go You know you want to............
I'm not sure I want to enter the 100 No 42, but I'm daft enough to.
If I enter the 100, I will make sure I finish the 100, even with one leg missing
I just need to do a bit more thinking about this...perhaps another glass of wine will help
She is definitely daft enough.......
You get the mail Min ?
I up for the 30.
cant be any harder than the Clarendon yesterday.
having done Clarendon, and having done 2 laps of the 50 last year, I'm afraid it is bANANA mAN, but don't let it bother you.
I am that Muzzy

No 42, forgot to ask, how did the run go today?
I'm sure I posted a reply, perhaps I did on another thread by mistake ...
22 miles on trails and hills sounds like a good training run to me No 42
