Rivington Pike Fell Race 3.25
Who is doing this?... and... this could be my first ever fell race!!
What advice would you give for someone is only used to racing on the flat?
Darren Holloway 2
brace yourself, but best to start with a short fell race and go steady you will enjoy it better 1st time out
There is no minimum time is there....
Oppps I mean Max time!! (too much champagne -)
And I understand the views from the top are quite something?
This will be my and my hubby's first fell race (could be our last!). I too are used to running on the flat - so far completed a couple of 15/20mins session of hill work on the treadmill and certainly took strain.
More practice me thinks!
DAMIEN - Unlike some fell races where there isn't even a start line, just a base camp, i'd say Rivington Pike is manageable.
From my experiences i'd say that it attracts road, fell, trail and cross country runners of all abilities.
Anyway good luck, you'll enjoy it.
