Sorry to hear about the knee JJ, I hope it won't keep you sidelined for long.
I had a very relaxing holiday, even on my birthday, and feel much better for it. At least my running seems to have improved, I scorched round 5 miles this morning.
EBF is also well, too well in fact. I rode him yesterday and he was very lively.
I must get on with the 23 messages on my answering machine.
Glad to hear that you had a good holiday BF and are running so well.
JJ good luck with the physio.
Benz we will all be waiting to hear ;o)
Ceal I agree about the cold brrr...
Ran this morning but only 2.6 miles in 33 minutes and didn't feel great so no more laps!
Nobody seems to have passed on the message to Cass that puppies get very tired and sleep lots! Night time is fine but she is very lively during the day (unlike me!)
Spud, how are you today. It seems you got suitable ticked off by JJ for your run yesterday! Do you now believe that you are going to do a good time? If you knew exactly what time you were going to do in a race, there would be no need to race, half the fun,(did I say fun)! is discovering what one is capable of on the day. Your 10 mile races times in the past were brilliant if I remember correctly. You will be faster than that already, as you now have the endurance to run a half m.
I am quite tired after my run yesterday, but am going to take 2 days rest now before tackling my last speed session before the race. I can feel my nerves started to kick in, but look at that as being fairly healthy. I think!
Hello ceal, let me introduce myself, I'm no superstar, altho I was in my local paper last week, I'm doing the gorilla run, they thought it an interesting feature
Maggie - things are looking up, relie is in high care now, speaking well, and they got him out of bed yesterday
NIce to meet you DDP, I hope you have a better run today, minus hills! Tell me more about the gorilla run, are you wearing a gorilla costume to do the run in?
wel i'll get some good runs in and its hi ho hi ho its off to the gym i go (on wednesday) i'll just chill out take it easy Banbury is postponed wuill probably go up there mid october now.
Maggie, I have stream running across the garden feeding the pond and it has very little shade, hence, in the warmer weather we have just had, is full of pond weed, and the spreads to the pond. Plus the leaves are starting to fall and settling in the pond and we have not yet put a net over. I find it quite therapeutic.
Gemini running has not been good for a few days. I had a pain inmy neck last Friday and didn't run until this morning, but I'm feeling a bit under par so it wasn't a good one. I am yet to do my first 6 miler as prescribed by JJ. Hopefully next w/e.

Will go for a little trot later
