this is gutting..did the run not go well?

To all those who have not been through this before.
From experience it's very normal to feel like a bloated stiff legged slug at this stage. The worst I feel before the better I seem to run on the day.
Really nervous now just bought in an extra family pack of toilet roll, look out for me at mudchute, will have my forum name on the front of my Barrow Runners vest (showing in my profile picture). Should get there hopefully at about 11:45 - 12am if my running goes to plan so give us a cheer.

Cas - i am in pen 8 at red start. look out for my pink bunches and come and say hi. if i miss you again, i hope you have a fab day and enjoy every minute. as we run nearlly exactly the same pace i can't believe we won't see each other!
But hope it's a bit cooler tomorrow for you guys.
I'm headed off to the train station very soon to make my merry way to London.
Reminder - I'll be wearing a white cap, black gloves and a green Macmillan vest with KATIE on the front. My number is 28961, and if it's going well all I'd like is a really big cheer. If I'm flagging I might fancy some jelly babies too! Aiming for 8min/mile if the legs willing...

Martin, sorry we didn't see you. We had our big Group 2 sign up but there was lots going on and it is on a blind bend so might have been difficult to see us.
Had a great day, if not rather wet and tiring (although not too fragile!!), but really enjoyed cheering everybody on.

And you absolutely did not let us down.
Thanks for the cheer and wave - you were the mid-point in between my two family cheering points at 14 and 22 miles, and you gave me a massive boost to keep running strong. Marathons seem so much more manageable when you carve them into smaller chunks...
