Heading for Olympic City tomorrow morning so probably won't be in here again before the race . . hope to see some of you at the Expo tomorrow or Saturday . . or of course at the Thistle afterwards . .
Thanks to the Supporters for their invaluable help ☺
Hope all Runners have a great day and achieve their aims . . and leave with many happy memories . .
May your legs remain with you every inch of the way . .
ah, so that was in your package Rio....if spans does not get mine i shall whip out a blow up photo of you and snaffle your bar leaving you to pig out on the left over immodium from fraggle....
Hi group 7, Berry here. Just popping in from group 4 to introduce myself.
I have had a RW camera pressed into my sweaty paws for Sunday. Not having RichK's preternatural ability to identify our elite circle of runners from a distance, I would most appreciate people yelling "There's X!" with enough notice for me to get them in focus!
Am very excited for you all now... am off now for some last minute shopping for you guys and then it is time for me to get creative, I promise you, you will not miss the number 7 at Mudchute!!
Am looking forward to hearing how you all get on, so don't forget to come back on here and let us know.
Oh and finally Barley, Fraggle and Spans sorry did not have time to post you the case of Dom Perignon 1948 chilled that i wanted: would you guys mind just getting it for me....
Very sorry to hear you can't run after all, Trinity
Wonderful sign, Hollywood! Could have people jumping up and down holding the canes for that in shifts
Just another thing for supporters:
1) As some of you know, we tend to dump our bags in a heap on the ground by the area where we stand at Mudchute. Please bear in mind that people do walk by, so don't leave any valaubles such as cameras, mobile phones, etc, in them. It's not the same as leaving them in a corner at Doggett's!
2) Toilet facilities at Mudchute: Bear this in mind, particularly if bringing children: Although last year there were portaloos just a bit further up the road past the DLR station, they get disgusting pretty early on, and queues take ages. There is also a loo or 2 at ASDA, but it can get difficult to cross the road. In the past, people have resorted to taking a DLR to Canary Wharf and back. Does anyone know of other possibilites?
