Name on Vest

Just a simple question, can you get iron on lettering done at the Exhibition Centre?

All the places where I live in York won't do it because the light material my vest is made of. They are worried that the temperature of their presses would be too hot and fear they would burn it.

Anyone got any ideas?

buy white iron on paper and do it yourself. PC World has it and possibly WH Smiths, or Ebay

I had mine done at the expo last year -can't remember how much it cost, but I plan to do the same this year, different charity, so new vest.

Looking at the map of the expo, you pass the place where you hand it in at the start of the expo, and collect it near the end.

I've not found anywhere in York that does it either. I usually write with marker pen all over my arms & legs, rather than (black Uni) vest. Stays on during the race, comes off with soap & water afterwards fairly easily.

Old timer,got mine done last weekend at the local jjb sports of all places? i have the adidas flm 2oo6 mens running singlet in white and had black letters ironed-on, They were reluctant to do it, but i signed a indemnity form for them, and they were cool as i had then accepted responsibility for any damage they caused, the manager did they ironing himself and made a top
job that i am well pleased with.
( a bit of a gamble i know, but who dares wins????????)

I manged to go to a footy club and mentioned that it's for charity and they did mine and my partners for free !!

It's what the staff do all them time.
