I'm considering replacing my training runs with a combination of firefighting and general forestry, which apparently works out about the same calorie burn.
I would love to know how they came up with the figures though. I'd have a couple of methodology questions if I wasn't having so much fun trying to replace my daily activities with equal-exertion tasks.
apparently I'd burn 16 calories sleeping for 15 mins
