    Second 1997 4h 22 tied too hard didn't enjoy it.

  • I remember it as if it was just a week ago - oh goodness it was! FLM 2006 5hr 26 - ran the first half faster than I've ever done before (by 3 mins) and ran the second half in EXACTLY the same time!

  • 1976,the year of the big heat wave, Milton Keynes - temp 90F plus. 2:41:17, crashed and burned.

    Haven't run one since, though maybe next year (or it just post FLM fever, if so I'm sure the feeling will pass).

  • 2006 FLM - 4:58:03, really pleased with that, plan was to do under 5. My actual running time was 4:41, without all the wee stops and to talk to my supporters...but I didn't have to stop for a rest. I also finished really strongly which I'm also very pleased about.
    2007 - who knows!

  • Graham & cubby what would be your advice for knocking loads of minutes of your PB? Both your times have dropped dramatically from when you first started!
  • London 06. 3:59:56, 4secs under the time i wanted & negative split, dont know if i dare do another as everything perfect from first day of training.
  • Advice for dropping loads of time of your mara time:

    do the first one very slowly.
