So then what else does everyone do hobbywise apart from running? Personally I enjoy a bit of bellydancing, painting when I get the chance, occasionally kickboxing and being an internet geek! I go through fads of getting really into a new hobby and then losing interest.

Photography - digital now, but I have a load of black and white 2 1/4sq film equipment.
Wood carving - sometimes I have a commission to do a winged horse for my youngest son. (I did a winged dragon for his brother)
Over the I have done so many things at evening classes, and local societies, including silversmithing, natural history, conversational french, and local history.
I saw some low price canvases at the weekend, and started a painting this evening.

And Bobbis has admitted it so shell i woodturning.
There are a few other little ones but i would call them more interest then hobbies. Apart from the sports the others are not as consistent.
First I had to make the lathe, then I turned some pillars for the sides of a crib ready for our first born, he is 26 now.
