  • Ah!! When I saw your review and time on Fetcheveryone I wondered whether it might have been.
    I too was going great for the first 4k aiming for 52- 53 minutes but the last 2k I may as well have been running thorough quick sand. I was desperate to get under an hour, and was convinced as I turned the corner to the finish I had missed out so was suprised when my watch said exactly an hour when I passed the line, made me forget the pain I had just endured! But a bottle of wine would have made me forget the pain even more!!
  • I have "alchy" tattoed upon my forehead.
  • I tried to run this last year , well I did take part it is a lovely course well marsalled but the sun and heat zapped me so i had to walk.Dont let that put anyone off its a good race and Ive decided to run this rather than the Purbrook ladies 5.
