I think i will enter again. I have my application in for FLM and may decide what to do nearer the time. Eitherway i will keep training as i have done since.
Caroline, i still look like i am going to keel over after 3 miles so i woulnt worry too much!!
IWDI come on enter again. I must get a form for London but I am definately entering Paris only cos I know that Im in. If I wait till December to find out about London then Paris entries will probably be full. Why don't London do first come ,first in like Paris? It makes much more sense.
I think it's because it is so oversubscribed. With the amount of London places going to charities at £350 a go it means that there are only a small number of normal entries. You could always try to get a GFA
Bonjour! A quick hello from France. Great to be able to pop in here for a minute. Yes, IWDI, I run when I can but that s not often and not enough to keep up any level of fitness. I ll be home next month and intend to stqrt on a training plan.Errr, I love charts and graphs and all that stuff.I m not fit enough to do the Half I d planned for September but will aim for one in November. Remember, I am very, very old... old enough to bypass the ballot for New York if I could just shift myself a bit quicker over a Half ° Errr, and win the Lottery to cover the cost of the trip, of course...°
I ve only tired the dreadmill a couple of times but found it murder!Too hot, too boring, too difficult! Having been a total slug for my first 49 years, my knees are in good nick. I think I ll stick to the roqd. But I know what you mean Caroline. I run / walk and in the walking/ gasping bits compose my fqce into a kind of ° This is all part of a sophisticated training plan, you know° look...
BRUBBLE you must be having a laugh. Me GFA! It took me just over 5 and half hours for Paris last year. I'm really hoping that if I concentrate on my training i may be able to do it next year in 4 and half,i would be very happy with that.
Hi, I'm back from my holiday and feeling very unfit.. I have Dublin in two months so I suppose I should start training for it... my motivation is very low at the moment. However, Paris 2008 entries should open this week (??) and that will pep me up...
Yeah B Rubble I'm so excited I can't wait.Maybe we should put a link on here to the new one as it's quite hard to find on the runner world site.2 days to go.
Hello, not been on here for a while - it's been all go over here. See that the website has taken on a new look too...!
Still up for Amsterdam and back up to a whopping 10km most days - ha ha - it's killing me. But aim to get round and hopefully in less time that Paris 2007.
2nd baby llama has not materialised, so assuming she's not as she's 2 weeks over now. Can got to 4, so you never know. But, have now got Cachou the mad black lab puppy.......nightmare.
Hope you are all well. I'm sad to see Jane Tomlinson has died - strange how I don't/never knew her but feel very sad about her and her family......she did a great job fund raising and certainly got me into this running lark. Not sure I'll ever get as much sponsor money as she did, but managed to get 6,000 euros for Paris and last weekend at our local Car Boot (Vide Grenier) I raised another 565 euros.....
Back to running - poor dog is wishing it was adopted by the "fat lazy family" hee hee
have done- thanks, good to be back and hope this is going to inspire me - do I need it or what......how many weeks/days till Amsterdam - NOT MANY !!!!!

ATM I had the "sophisticated training plan" look on my face tonight. Totally wiped out after 7 miles, then I had to take the dog out.
