Changing First Claim Club

Help!
I was thinking about changing my first claim club, as my current first claim club does not compete in all the local leagues (Cross Country in the winter, Road Running all year round), in fact it's not really a competitive club at all.
Here are the facts
- I am a member of two clubs, and would like to change my "first claim" to the other one.
- I last competed in the name of the old first claim club about a month ago.
- I have not moved house - and the clubs are in the same area.
- I'm not that good a runner - I've never taken home a prize - but I would affect first team results.
- I don't compete on the track.
The real side of my wish is that, although I love my original club and the members, I would like to be part of a club where there is some keen-ness to "get picked for the team" and where there is minibus (or at least lift sharing) going to races, and supporters (read "tent and flask" at the winter XC league!!!)
Anyone ever done this? What's the drill?

I should have thought that this site would alread carry better answers than UK Athletics .com!!
As long as both clubs agree it is no problem. UK athletics have some forms to fill in if you are an elite athlete and it's just to stop elite athletes hopping from club to club.
If you are a recreational runner like me ( I sense you are not) no-one will really care. I didn't fill in the forms.
PS why the "Ex" Pudsey?

It's because I was a member of Pudsey Pacers running club and I have now changed clubs, hence Ex Pudsey.
If you've resigned from your running club then you shouldn't be competing for them, you need to transfer your EA licence to your new EA club or run as unaffiliated.
