Has anyone got any experience of using resistance bands for running specific exercises? I've been reading a book by Michael Yessis which has a number of exercises in it and thought I might give them a try. Also what sort - I've looked at physio supplies and they sell what look like quite broad bands of elastic - the alternative seem to be tubes. Thanks.

I used it for an ankle injury and then for a quad exercise - got me going until I could use proper weights which I still do.
Its less than a year old now and has decayed amazingly - despite being kept in the dark. Won't be long before it perishes altogether I guess. So maybe buying in bulk isn't a good idea !
