exercise suggestions

ok so i have a broken collar bone and a dislocated finger - on opposite sides so have effectively lost the use of both arms. Both injuries are now 1 week old - finger is popped back in place but still v swollen.
I need some suggestions as to exercises i can do before i turn into mrs blobby. sit-ups are a problem since they put too much pressure on my bad shoulder.
can anyone out there help. have been told i can't really start physio until the two ends of bone have joined.
