Well not exactly Mr C...I get paid for 37 and 1/2 hours but at the moment doing 45+ at work and lots at home.....but ce la vie. I'm just frustrated that I have to hang around sometimes to do the odd recording. I should be doing THESIS but its hard to start writing creatively when you have to pop out every 30 mins!
No JJ our beagle is a lot smaller than you thought- she's a midget!! But yes she's very good with people but i wouldn't recomend one to anyone as she was an absolute git as a puppy, but it turned out to be separation anxiety cos as soon as we got the 'other one' she immediately settled down! So yes get 1 but only as if you've got another 1!!!if that makes sense
I'm in health research .... I am a research fellow (originally a qualified nurse). I design, obtain funding and run clinical trials. I'm my own timekeeper (which explains the long hours), still get to interact with patients. regurlaly speak at conferences and get to travel abroad 4-5 times a year!
Pay isn't wonderfull...YET. But when the PhD is finished many more career oportunities open up!
I don't think I shall have time for even my three-mile run tonight.
Bloody patients!
(Sorted out an 11-year-old hard man and his belligerent mother who couldn't understand where he gets his bleedin' attitude from, though! They are unlikely to attempt to approach a consultation in quite the same manner again.)
Mr C I would never get a dog from a puppy farm. I quite like the idea of a rehomed dog as you don't have to go through the destructive widdly puppy stuff. Have enough of that with jumpet no2 :-)
I want a nice slinky retired greyhound cos they say owners get to look like their pets.
Heard a horror story about why a nice patient from Zimbabwe is now under my care, made peace with the woman who got upset over my refusal to accept responsibility for her weight, and sent a slightly chubby but healthy and active teenage girl and her mother off with the message that she's gorgeous and anyone who says different will get a visit from Mrs Dinosaur. So a productive afternoon.
Only three to go. The run's off. Maybe later, much later...
Getting a dog from a pound is not allways plain sailing! Sometimes they are very screwed up. I rmember the last dog my mum and dad got before I left home. It was from a rescue....it must have been mistreated. Used to get very ANGRY. Then it started weeing on beds and eventually they had to send it back when it tried to savage my sis for the second time...poor thing and it was the most beautiful dog to look at. A Kerry Blue cross with something bigger and long haired.

Just say SHUTUP BBB and stop whingeing!
We're all entitled to a whinge every now and then no matter what/who we are or what we do!
