Have the road and cross country runners taken note of the new rules introduced by UK Athletics as from 1st April 2006 with minimal consultation and publicity. All the main officials at all events organised outside a stadium must now satisfy the requirements of UK Athletics and be registered with the County Association. In addition all starters and time keepers must attend a Health and Safety course and pass an examination. More bureaucracy.
