Nottingham (Robin Hood) Half

HELP!!!

My wife, Jo, has developed a very serious stress fracture and now cannot run the Nottingham Hlaf as planned. Her daughter is also doing it as her first half marathon and my wife desperately wants to go round with her.

It is possible that next week she will be in plaster. So we thought that maybe I could push her round in a wheelchair. I contacted the organisers and they are OK about this but I was wondering how hilly it is.

Is anyone familiar with the route? Will it be too hilly to push a wheelchair?

Any info on this would be great.

Thanks,

RB

  • Ratbag - Mick pushed Phil round last year (micknphil-marathonlads.co.uk)- not sure if he did the full or the half here. It is a little hilly but not too awful. Good on you for considering it. If you can find Mick and mail him I'm sure he'd tell you to go for it. Good luck.
If you think you can or you think you can't you're probably right.
