I wonder how the athletics were.  I was gutted I couldn't go.

BAd day.  DAve been puting the grouting tools in my mop bucket to rinse.  He tipped the water out, but didn't wash it out.  Bucket on a slant.  i put the water in.  Put the mop in to do the kitchen floor quick.  I gave the floor a good wash.  Covered it with a film of grout.  The slate had a white coating.  Three hours later on my hands and knees i finished washing it and it came up clean.

DAve spent 3 and a half hours on Wednesday sanding the tiles as he put the wrong grout on and it wouldn't come off.  Thats what you get for not reading the label and buying Wickes grout tiny writing at the bottom - not for use with slate or natural stone)  Great!!!  So guess who has spent the weekend trying to scrape up dust???  yip - moi!

we managed a swim at the aquati centre.  Molly loves it.  Just joined her to do the ducklingsswimming.  course.  £48 lighter now....  Good job she not going to nursery until 17th as I just spent her shoe money!!!  Still hopefully it will be worth it.

I juggled and they still not balancing.  Going to have to cancel Molly's swimming lessons until after 1/2 term,  I cannot afford £48 no matter how hard i try and work it out.  She is coming on okay.  I wish they printed the price in a leaflet.

we either eat of Molly swims!?!

As much as I need another stone off.  I think a baked bean and spaghetti diet for 4 weeks a bit drastic and i don't think DAve would be very pleased.

    Night.

Make the most of the kisses and cuddles - Nathan has alomost stopped now - as big boys don't cuddle and kiss - (until night time then it becomes different)

Hi all, I'm still around although still in limbo (working week with parents, back home at weekends). All that *should* change soon, fingers crossed. I've been keeping up the running, more or less, although I need a race to aim for now I think.

Luckily for me Clarissa loves kisses and cuddles, although she also hit me in the face when we were in the park on Saturday! Swings and roundabouts, eh! To be fair she just struck out, it's always due to frustration but that brought our afternoon at the park to a swift close. Trouble was, she had the pleasure of riding her bike back home anyway, as there was no way I was going to carry it all the way back....image

little tweety (as she is most definitely not mini anymore) has indeed started big school, although we walk past nursery every day and she tells me she wants 'little school today mummy.'

halloween outfit purchased today.  she told me she wanted a dress like a witch at the weekend but saw an outfit in tesco this evening.  yes, my 5 year old is going to be dressed as a pumpkin.  god help me.

thanks for the email grendel.  great to hear from you again.image

Hi Tweety - yip did the GNR in 2:11:44 a big Pb.  2:38 being my best.  |Was so pleased i cried.  Though the 2 hour wait for Oh afterwards was  a bit bad.

Aw Tweety school.  Molly is at nursery she has a couple of 'incidents'  mainly sorted now (not her, older children pushing the younger ones about).

Its 'scarecrow day' next tuesday!!!  Old jeans and tops.

Molly has last years witches outfit.  It was massive, though she has got a mask to go with it.  Mine will be the black wig, had and black skirt.  (though i did fancy the witches outfit in Asda yesterday i don't need the mask...  Hahahahahahaha

Hello TAv, nice to hear from you

We're completing on Friday. I need some valeriana, I'm going to be a nervous wreck by then. Running is out of the window for now, I'll have to start from 5 or 10 miles a week when I eventually get back into it. Clarissa is going to stay at "bampi and nana's" tomorrow. 2 nights without us will probably be plain sailing for her, I'm not sure how we'll cope though! Travelling with our timid house cat on Friday is going to be 'fun' as well. We have a tin of organic catnip, which should keep her smacked to the tits for a while at least, I didn't fancy risking sedation.

forgot to say.  had first parents evening at school last night.  first words from teacher were 'we all love jessica.'  am typing with a smile image the teachers are just keeping an extra close eye on her this year but next year, she will definitely need some support in the classroom once the day becomes more formal and structured.  she has her specialist assessment next friday for ASD.  don't know if the fact it's on halloween is ominous or not!

little tweety had her diwali school assembly today.  they showed everyone the little clay pots they had made (she told me the name but i can't understand what she said!!), some lovely panting patterns and their version of henna tattoos.  to my relief, they had not drawn on their hands but drawn round their hands, cut that out and decorated the paper hand.  relief all round!!!!  she has spent the evening asking if she can see fireworks again.  we went to saaafend last saturday night and had a lovely evening watching fireworks and having fish'n'chips.  how the other half live, eh?

we went to saaafend again last night. freeeeeezing but the cold was warmed up by some lovely local fish and chips and hot donuts for afters. the boat that the fireworks go off on had a mini fire itself last night - oops!  it seemed to go on much longer than last week.  lots of big ones that jess really liked.

Sounds good all.  Well done Jessica.  Bet you are proud Tweety.  I was at Molly's nursery parents night.  She has settled in no problems.  Is 'Helpful'???????  tidies up??????  is this the same child????  Only one problem she can be easily led.  Oh great.  Ah well can't have everything

Sorry not been on.  My mum died suddenly 19th October.  She had (unknown to us and ? her) bowel cancer. The tumour caused a blockage which when they operated had perforated her bowel.  We let her go on the Sunday because she wouldn't have come round anyway and it would not have been pleasant to watch septecemia set in.  They withdrew treatment and she did not regain conciousness.  It was very peaceful.  She was kept comfortable.  But the gap she has left is huge and I am finding it one big struggle.  mailing Grendel has been a help.  Just suffering from insomnia now.

Clearing the house has been a nightmare.  It is empty now and on the market.

Typical Oh has gone back to work on night shift and molly was off today. She spiked a temperature during the night and is coughing.

Molly loved Halloween and Bonfire night.  She would have fireworks every night given the chance.

ah well going to try to sleep and not think of raiding the xmas chocolates.  My Mum had bought us our chocolates before she died.  I know where OH hid them.  The are not whispering eat me they are screaming!!!!!

I raided last night and i raided tonight.  from years of practicei can take the tape off and put it back.  i am on the slippery downward slope now!!!  At this rate will put on all the weight I lost plus a few more pounds and have to buy a new tin of chocs.

I may have to lock them away but where????
