continental marathons

my wife and i will shortly run our first marathon on the continent (amsterdam) having run two previuosly in uk .we are unsure if the course will we marked at every km or 5km.also we are trying to find a chart of km splits
with their mile equivilants.
can anyone assist?

Normally they are in km, if you run 8 min miles this equated to 5 min kms. Here is a handy link to a split calculator. It will gives you the option of miles or kms depending on you target time.
