did some rowing, cycling and ergonomic trainering - no knee problems at the moment couldn't do the step thing at all. will see tomorrow how knee reacts. finised off with a km swim. they made me go in the pool for the swim. fascists.
i did a bike fitness test (well 2 actually one recline one sit up and beg) to see how unfit i was.
Apparently i'm 4/5 on a fitness scale that wasn't explained and my likely V02 max is 48 - if thats out of a 100, can't be good. never really understood the V02 stuff.
- I was expecting a "you are a very tubby bloater" rating or "did you mean to eat a pie whilst doing this test lardy boy?" etc -you get the picture.
4/5 after 2 months off can't be bad - unless 5 is dead and 4 is comatose...
ah eliptical - whats ergonomic training? erm apart from some wierd situation whereby ergo is involved in gym work - most likely in a form of an evil, slightly twisted personal training capacity...
<well done chubby, now try lifting all the weights in the stack, go on, you'll be fine... oh maybe not>
lol, sounds like you're fairly fit then anyway. 48 sounds good to me! i reckon i must be 30 vo2. which reminds me - i should contact the University to get tested.
i really doubt i'll ever be firm!
i think my body is going to have a shock when i exercise and actually move forward at the same time. all this turbo, tready and eliptical action must be confusing it.
on the elip i like the bit after 30 mins when the sweat starts flying off my elbows. the sweet girl next to me left at that point :-)

Stop messing up ironmikes thread you lot - he's being serious. He doesn't need you lot talking about c*cks and stuff, god knows triathlon has enough c*cks in it... poor mike

Last takeaway for 3 months today...
i think i'll be using it alot this year. although i've no idea how well it compares to running.
