Any reccommendations for cheap 'n' cheerful runner friendly hotels/ B&B's near the start for Luton Marathon on dec 3rd this year. You know the sort of place - proper carb-loaded brekkie, don't mind you coming back after the race for a shower even though you aint gonna be staying ther that night?

As for accomodation I live close enough to get there on the day ........................................ if I get up early enough
There is a separate Luton Marathon thread with similar advice on.
The Regent Hotel by Junction 11 of the M1 or the Pines Hotel in Marsh Road are the closest. Not sure about B&Bs actually, never really paid much attention and Luton is probably not the place to have many, although I think they may be a couple just to the North (even maybe on the route thinking about it).
I'll have a look around and let you know.
