VO2 Max


I've signed up for some testing on this (purely on the basis that I got it foc) but I don't really know what to expect in terms of:

1. Test Conditions and Duration
2. Preparation (treat it like a race?)
3. Interpreting Results

Anyone else out there had a go and care to share their experience?

All help and advice gratefully received as always.

    VO2 max is a measure of the oxygen you use when exercising at maximum capacity and is basically a measure of your fitness.

    Your test conditions will depend on which assessment method is used as there's more than one. For example, the Bleep Test you may have done at school is one method.

    This is a useful page for more information. Good luck with the test. It's bound to hurt a bit though!!
