Running Times

Hello,

I am currently running 10.5 miles, 3 times a week.
While I'm not bothered about entering races or setting fastest times, I want to push myself.
So, what's a fairly decent time for this.
I am currently doing it in 75 mins. I just want to ensure I'm not taking it too slow.
Feedback will be much appreciated!

Sadly there is no standard fast/slow time for all runners. What is fast for one will be slow for another (or visa-versa). You should feel good at the pace you are running at. This will mean running fast, but feeling comfortable. If your going too fast and hurting alot then your going a bit to quickly. A fast 10 miles will feel like a buzz, breathing fairly easy. If your not sure if you can go faster try it, you will soon have to slow down again if you start going into oxygen debt.

Just to give you an idea of what 75 mins for 10.5 miles is....

At Bramley yesterday you would have finished
    around 60th out of 386...

    Hope this helps

    Thanks.

I've run this distance 3 times now. Good to know I'm on the right track.
