another knee problem

My knee has a pain that feels as though it comes from behind the knee cap.
6 weeks ago I pulled up with a pulled calf and walked home. this recovered bit whenever i ran the leg would be stiff and felt hard work.
Battled on nearly PBed at amsterdam 1/2 and did snoowdon, that was not wise, but i had paid and it was a glorious day for running. While running no problem, but after the past marathon pains have gone, my knee is still trouble.
Any ideas brfore I become a fat grumpy divorcee.
