However I don't know of another person with the surname of Mark. And I have certainly never comea cross anyone christened with the name of 'Tall' Do many people comment on it?
Tracey - yes, i found about 6 piccies of me. Went by the description - black T shirt, long black tru's and short legs and up they popped! Pretty rubbish photos, but at least they are there.
Morning PSC. My legs are still tired. Did 12 yesterday but more of a run/walk/shuffle
Tall Mark, About Gatliff. I know that we don't know what the weather will be like but would I be able to do it in ordinary running shoes or do I need to invest in trail shoes. The organisers also say I need a torch and all sorts of other things. Would a good look at the weather for the day, common sense and appropriate clothing then apply
Set off for 10 miles today, but had to cut it short at 8.5 as a steep downhill section brought on a few tweaks of my BH knee pain - don't want to take any chances with a bout of ITBS.
I'm hoping things are sore because of all those wonky cambers on the BH route, and not because of something more long-term. Fingers crossed.
On a brighter note, I did see Redhead out on my run - or at least I think I did.
And my new trail shoes are great - although a mystery. They are made by Asics and called Gel-Precede, but I can't find any evidence of Asics ever making a shoe of that name, and the only references that come up on a Google search are from German running websites, which are in German. Not that I'm obsessive or anything...
well done Paddy! I spectated at a 10k this morning - HH and a bunch of clubmates doing it - HH was 4 seconds off a 10k PB too! Guess doing Beachy twice and then Dublin is good 10k taper? lol....
