Well it depends very much on where you are. Left Milton Keynes at 9:45pm last night and nothing. Got to Junction 12 of the M1 and the snow started. By junction 10 (Luton) it was really quite heavy.
This morning ..... 6 inches of snow in Luton. I jest not, I cleared the car, stood out 4 inches on one side where the wind had blown in. The car went through about 90 degrees on the drive but mainly because I was trying to avoid the d**kh**d from two doors down who parked up next to my drive rather than on his own. Not encroaching on my drive but no allowance to swing on or off and that is in normal conditions let alone slippy ones. I I could get off then could drive but gave up and working from home.
Added to by the fact that I needed to get home early this evening in order to get down to London tonight to see Madness at the O2. Might have to leave somewhat early as although the trains are running there are delays. Will be interesting getting back tonight as the temperature plummets as well,
So as I say depends where you are, Given that Simon reports that Leighton Buzzard (approx. 8 miles from Luton) has 1cm and we have 15cm !!!
Comments
