Thank you for coming home
I'm sorry that the chairs are all worn

What an evening! Sweet dreams are made of this! (They were nearly the lyrics!)

Driving to mum's in Leicestershire this morning, then to Watford on Monday to take the train to the Olympics. I will probably be very disappointed as nothing can live up to tonight!!

Won't be running much...plenty of stretching, though!

Progress is rarely a straight line. There are always bumps in the road, but you can make the choice to keep looking ahead.

Yeah I know the lyrics and yeah I was going to use them todayimage

Yesterdays lyrics 'Wonderwall' by Oasis/ It was the dayimage

    What: Rest Day

Why: It usually is in on a Sunday

Smiry rain on up up here.

    More Olympics today.

  • The 100m for women came up after the 3 Golds had been won and I thought; 'You have to follow that !'

The commentators did well, but I don't think most of crowd really were that bothered who won it.

The medal ceremony for Jessica Ennis just rounded the evening off brilliantly.

Felt a bit sorry for Greg Rutherford: his achievement was rather lost in the Jess/Mo hysteria. In years to come I think he will be a quiz question: on GB's greatest ever day in Olympic athletic history who was etc etc.

  • Morning.

Wasn't that a night to be glued to the tv!

No rain here yet but forecast for later so I'd better get out early even though it's not exactly warm. Where is summer?

    What:        a ride.
Why:         it's all about the bike (apparently)
    Last hard:  20/7
    Last rest:   30/7

    Lyrics - yes.

If you think you can or you think you can't you're probably right.
  • Morning LMH:Yup brilliant

ale: I agree re Greg Rutherford. I don't think he ever got a chance to run a very very  well deserved lap of honour due to mens 10,000m taking place.

  • A'noon

Ben Ainslie has just won his 4th Gold

postie: Sorry to hear about your crash.

  • I just ran out of fuel, nothing more serious than dented pride.

Big news so far is that Murray apparently smiled!
