Running clubs - West Sussex

Now, I'm the first to say that I would never want to join a club that would have me as a member, but I'm leaning towards joining a local athletics or running club.

First off, I don't seem to be improving - it could be my age but I think a running club with a coach might be a good step.... or stride.

Second - I feel a bit sad running on my own all the time image.

I realise this is a really long shot, but I have three clubs in mind: Worthing Striders, Worthing Harriers, Steyning Athletics - anyone have any experience?

I have seen all 3 clubs (mainly Worthing) at races (track open meetings, x-country, local races) and they always seem like a good club with a range of runners. Where abouts in West Sussex are you? Are they your nearest clubs?

i live in Worthing, but work in Dorking. Most fo my training is weekday lunchtimes, box hill, north downs, denbies, tranmore, box hill and so on. You got another suggestion?
