Newport Velodrom coaching - this week only
From NEWTS FB:
3 paralympic squads are holding open training sessions at velodrome, USA on 22 @9 am-12. GB on 23 @ 14:00 - 1700 and Australian on 23 @ 19:00 - 22:00 all sessions are free just turn up 1/2 an hour before session starts.

Do you know if we could just go along and watch? Me and Jr are off this week and it would be great for him to go and watch some track cycling

And me and Jr are definitely going now, so I have one very excited young man on my hands
If its anything like the GB squad training a month or so ago I would take a book - lots of efforts with sometimes long gaps in between - kids got bored after the first hour with the GB squad

Had a fantastic time watching Team GB training session. Jr loved it and wants to have a go so I foresee another trip to Newport in the not too distant future

No worries Schmunks. I was working today in Newport, but didn't finish in time to see GB. Rushed home for club TT run.
When I'm down that way for work I swim with NEWTS tri club. I've never seen so many lanes in a 25m pool. Extremely empty in the mornings too.
