i do a blog. I just stick up running related things that amuse me, lots of nostalgia stuff. no boring reports of my own training runs. it is spectacularly unpopular.
For an inspiring and sassy look at running I love http://bangsandabun.com/ She's my running inspiration because she gets people who would never have dreamed of running to do it, and then fall in love with it.
For inspiration as well as loads of useful information about ultras, I really like http://debsonrunning.blogspot.co.uk/ She's got a wicked sense of humour and gives proper 'warts-and-all' write-ups of her training and races.
Good to see that everyones favourite blog is their own.
To be honest I'm not a fan of this sort of thing. There's only so far you can go with the tedious minutiae of your training and motivation before it begins to pall! Ironically the blogger runs out of ideas even before the blogees tire of reading it. That's why cyberspace is littered with abandoned blogs floating around like lost Marie Celestes.
My favourite running blog by a metric mile is cunningrunt.blogspot.com/ and even the genius responsible for this had found better things to with his time.
I'm aware that no one reads my blog but I like to keep it as a record of stuff i've done and I like messing around with websites. It's a lot better than watching crap TV with the misses.
