Hi,
I regulary get pain on the outside of my lower leg. I have always assumed this is shin splints but on these pages I have discovered this would be on the inside.
The pain is definitly not boney and I can cause pain by lifting my toes towards the ceiling and tensing. I get this fairly regularly and when I have it is sore to walk, run and touch.
Any ideas what it is and how I can cure. Doing FLM this year and starting to worry as training over last ten days has been seriously hindered.

Did you find a answer to this? Have just found your post via a Google search as I'm having the same problem after switching to barefoot/minimalist running.
