I really struggle to find saddles I can put up with and have been swapping an old trek padded gel one from bike to bike for years. But it's pretty much at the end of its life now - tattered and burst and is causing wear and tear to the the legs of my bike shorts and tri suit, so I have to get a new one.
Can anyone tell me if the Adamos are as comfy as they're made out to be?

Horses for courses I think ... what suits one person wont neccessarily suit the next
There are a few places that wwill let you try before you buy, hopefully someone will have the right links soon !!
I found other saddles really uncomfortable, tried an Adamo and now wouldn't ride on anything else, http://www.trybikestore.co.uk/ will send you a saddle to try for a while and see if you like it.
Im really very tempted with an Adamo for my tri bike. I've tried a few and they're just really uncomfortable, even Fizik which I love on my road bike
There is a sweet spot with the Adamos. It takes a bit of adjustment to get it right. Have a look here as a starting point.
On the plus side, a lot of them have a lip at the back which sits of the rail of the bike rack. This looks good, but more importantly, saves you 0.16 of a second in T1.
On a training camp last year, of 5 of us in the fast group 4 were on adamos
On a tri bike you essentially sit off the front of it- so your tackle has lots of room! i was sitting too far back on it and hot moved forward on it so the back of your arse cheeks meet with the saddle about 2-3 inches from the rear.
Again getting it to the right angle takes time
I use the road - its softer tjan some of the others, but its still hard. its also a little wide at the front (apparently) but ive never noticed it really
Tried one and hated it, horses for courses but all I ended up with was blisters on the inside of my thighs, give me a Fizik Tri saddle any day
Road saddle for me as well, comfy from the first ride, and been good for upto 9 hours.
Thanks for the info everyone, and thanks to Keir and Jonny for the links. I'm definitely going to try one out now. I'm still chuckling at the 'tackle and arse cheeks' fitting advice...
I've got a used (not by me) one for sale. Never got around to using it.
PM me if interested.
it's an ism racing saddle. the original one.
oh and it's black.
