If it was a very windy day, can that effect your training, how much slower do you expect to run a 10km run?
Honestly, if some of the miles are into a serious gale then you can be minutes slower per mile....let alone the full distance.
Eat less baked beans!

ALso do you get a similar benefit with the wind behind you?
You'd be on for a personal best over a flat/straight route with the wind behind you all the way!

I don't think it's an exact science. Similar to comparing hilly to flat and on road to off road.
