finding my Asics (Cumulus 13's) are not great with any ice around - a guy from my running club recommended all terrain trainers, but cant seem to see many about - any tips or advice?
I don't know if they are still available, but years ago when I lived in the UK the best off road trainers for most conditions were Walsh fell running shoes. They seemed to grip well on ice/wet rocks etc.
You need Nike Polars, the soles are coated with polar bear hair. Unfortunately they are now only available in Greenland, as the Reykjavik Nike store has sold out.
Just going to try a pair of Karrimor trail trainers - only £25 at Sports Direct, so even if they are not very good they will be OK for walking dogs in.

Vivobarefoot Breathos if you run minimalistic.
