Good morning (just)
Nothing to report until later...except this is what currently playing on the stereo.
In a garden in the house of love, sitting lonely on a plastic chair
The sun is cruel when he hides away
....... Back later when I've done some running.

Morning.
Yesterday's lyrics were Slip Sliding Away by Simon and Garfunkel.
Hope it continues to be good news Alehouse.
That doesn't sound like Radio 2 Tom!
I expect my what will depend on my day at work, it looks as though it could be a busy one so I'll either be more tired or want to destress.
What: either a swim or a rest
Why: tired but like a swim to ease everything out
Last hard: 2/12
Last rest: 1/12
Lyrics - no.
Morning all
What: not sure yet, depends what the doctor does...
Why: going to see the specialist today
Lyrics: nope
Ale sounds like the achillies is improving. How is it feeling today?
Have a good day all.
morning all,
Great lyric Tom, I'll be singing this to myself for a while today. Yesterday for some strange reason I had the Beat's "Mirror in the Bathroom" going round my head. I had to you tube it, to see it done properly...
What - hopefully a run at lunchtime
Why - feel rubbish, sore throat, blocked nose etc etc. However a run in the cold usually helps clear the passages. We shall see.
last rest - friday
last hard - last week sometime
have a good day everyone
Morning!
Should have got yesterday's lyrics....and probably should have got today's.
What: phys
Emzap: hope you get some good advice
Blisters: hope the molar is sorted...and I don't know your lyrics either.
Back later.
Nice speedy running RFJ (and junior) as well as postie
LMH: good long running! I need to start that again. My longest runs at the mo are 11-12 miles. Not enough. On the other hand it's nice to be lazy from time to time ...
Good luck at the doctors, emzap.
what: nowt
why: Monday is usually my rest day
last hard: too long ago
lyrics: no
Lyrics: Tom no, Blisters yes,
What: Early morning core sesh in the gym possible mini plod later
Why: It's Monday
Last Hard: Yesterday's 8
Last rest: Thursday
Lots of frost and ice today but beautiful clear sky. Great to be alive. Beginning to feel like Christmas AH hope all goes well at Physio today
Didn't see this thread, although I promise that I did look for it, and wondered why nobody was up before 8. With 4 posts it should have been visible.
Lyrics on mine were The tale of the Irish Rover, (what link say you?) by The Pogues (all say ahhhh).
Just overcast and damp
What: probably nothing
Why:
Last Hard: Saturday
Last Rest: yesterday
Lyrics: no
Maybe run tomorrow
I preferred your thread Blisters. I don't know the lyrics on this one!
Nice weekend run.
What - hope to do a slow 4 miler this evening.
Why - getting keen again.
Have a good week everyone.
Well back from doctors. She took a biospy (I am incredibly needle phobic and so embarrassed myself rather with the state I got into). I am now unable to walk properly and definitely unable to sit properly! I have to go back tomorrow to get the wound redressed and checked (no needles this time!). Feeling rather sick and dizzy now, so going to go and lie down and feel sorry for myself infront of the tv!
Afternoon!
Sounds like fun, Emzap.
Physio was pleased, but everything must still proceed with caution: she did say I "could" run a little, but this would be very unwise as my calf is so weak. So I'm being a good boy and listening to her! Lots more exercises to do (and Tom, have been walking backwards with a slightly exagerated stretch. Not sure it counts as a lunge, but close!)
Had a long walk...well it seemed it as I went from shop to shop, and, indeed, around a number of them, pausing only to dish out great ollops of cash (well, credit card actually).
Afternoon
What 8 commute
Why Fitting runs in when I can
Lyrics yes to both
Off on the school now so may be back later.
*delurk* Corr, I'm a student again! Lyrics: yes, but not till I got to the plastic chair bit.
Blisters Thought the link would be the lead singeers teeth!
Spent the day basking in glory at work after yesterday
Doesn't sound like fun emzap.
Nice progress Alehouse and good restraint being shown.
chickadeee - I know that I benefit from more longer runs before a marathon and am aware that I may lose a few planned ones if we end up with a couple of weeks of compacted snow and ice again, am also lazy as find it easier to keep what I have then to take a break and rebuild!
I just did a mile in the pool in the end, enough to ease out some kinks.
AleH - good news from the physio. Onwards and upwards. I also seem to be spending a lot of time doing backward lunges.
This morning effort was 6.9M. I think I ran this a bit too quickly as the hamstring was a bit more uncomfortable over the last couple of miles than I would have liked. Hopefully the won't be any ill after effects.
Back tomorrow
