So its the final morning of the voting days. Good luck for the final verdict over the next 24 hours. Whoever makes it is very deserving of getting to the final five. If I make it in to that 5 or not, I will be supporting you on here all the way in whatever way I can!
Morning all.....I can only echo those words said by others........good luck to everyone. It's been an excellent experience so far, and everyone is a worthy winner.
Good luck to Reg, Martin and Malcs. Certainly no hard feelings whoever wins
Morning everyone! Cold one this morning, and quick run before work- think one of the nurses was a bit traumatised by my attire as heard her muttering as I went past "is Mr Kelty wearing tights?"
I think that tgis has been the best comp so far and icvan see that friendship have been made........I'm sure that all those unsuccessful will find a suitablethread or two to join in and eremember clubhouse is always there for when you want to talk about non running things.......which after these couple of weks i imagine you will be ready to talk about anything
LOL Clive . As long as they weren't fish nets your reputation remains intact.
Btw. are you a tights over shorts or under shorts man?
Jen - bit early for tackling such tricky numeracy! I have a degree in maths but we didn't do numbers, just greek letters and symbols. So sadly I'm unable to attampt an answer
seren - thanks for your support too. It's made a real difference having you probing our threads and helping us out with forum advice. Very much appreciated (I feel happier saying that now that you've voted - although I appreciate that doesn't stop me sounding like a bit of a crawler ).
Morning all!! Seren you have been amazing throughout this week I am sure all will agree that you have been a massive support especially to newbies like me Wishing you all the best of luck Im so glad Im not the one selecting the final 5 because it would be sooooo difficult! All worthy contenders
All the very best everyone, especially Jen, A.W, Andrew and Marcus! I've really enjoyed this blogging thing and meeting all of you and I'll be supporting you all the way. I think I may have nullified all my votes last night by trying to change my forum name to CarroT so it may only be 4 of you in your group after all . I’ll come up as a DNS (did not start) on the judges result sheet
Thanks seren nos and all the other forumites for all your support xox CarroT
Went out this morning early - it was minus 6!!! It warmed up though - minus 5 at the finish!!!
5 1/2 miles at MP + 45sec per mile (8:10mm). It was glorious!!!
Anyway off out now to buy some flourescent pink ear muffs to match the socks RRR is sending me for Xmas!
Good luck to Tony, RRR ans Sills. Whoever wins will do us proud, I'm sure. And good luck to everyone else in the other categories. This week has been a blast
Was told yesterday that our service will be decommissioned on the 31st of March and we are all being given notice between x mas & new year (so kind) so i think I deserve the trip to Paris in April!!
